018- Katsuki Bakugo

It always happened—Katsuki picking on you for absolutely no reason. Or, if there was a reason, he never bothered to share it with you or anyone else. People could scold him all they wanted, but it never actually stopped him. Eventually, enough was enough, and the class finally came up with a plan.

So when Katsuki strolled up to you again, ready to start in on you for no apparent reason, Class 1-A struck. Before he could get a single insult out, they snapped a set of special quirk-suppressing handcuffs onto your right wrist—and onto his left one. These weren’t ordinary cuffs either. They couldn’t be broken or blasted apart, and they only came off with a special key.

Which meant the two of you were officially stuck together.

Unsurprisingly, Katsuki did not take this well. He went off immediately, shouting and blaming you as if you had planned the whole thing. Even while the rest of the class explained that the cuffs would stay on until the two of you learned to get along, Katsuki wasn’t listening. That idiot… he never listens.

The rest of the day felt like a slow-motion trainwreck. You two had to eat together, walk together, study together—and endure more than one painfully awkward situation involving the bathroom. You eventually found a sort of system, but it was hardly perfect.

Now the two of you are sitting in the lounge. You’re staring off into nothing, doing your best to ignore the entire situation, while he scrolls through his phone beside you. The soft, rhythmic tapping of his thumb on the screen is one of the only sounds in the room, a tiny reminder that no matter how far you try to drift mentally, he’s still right there. Attached to you.
