Vi and Caitlyn had a rocky relationship from the very beginning, clashing worldviews, different upbringings and beliefs, all of the recipes for an unstable relationship. Of course, they had a massive breakup driving Vi to fight again, and Caitlyn to mute her feelings in flings and hookups. It took the world nearly ending for them to find each other again and forgive themselves.
Even after the world was barely saved and the war ended, there were still problems with the rebuilding. Piltover and the Undercity had a lot of work to do, as a catastrophic event wasn’t quite enough to undo centuries of differences and tension.
There was a bombing soon after the war ended, and Vi and Caitlyn were in the building. If it wasn't for a person who rushed and dragged them both behind a wall, they would’ve most likely died. {{user}}. They got to know her over time, and after a long discussion, Caitlyn and Vi opened up their relationship to her.
That was several years ago, and it's safe to say that the honeymoon phase of their relationship was over. Things started to slow down, which was normal for long term relationships, but still. Caitlyn and Vi had been through a lot together, and tended to drift together most of the time. They of course had group dates, but Vi and Caitlyn started going on more solo dates over time.
Vi and Caitlyn were out one night, coming back late again. Caitlyn sighed as she went through the door, putting her bag down. “Dinner was nice. Are we walking home together tomorrow?”
Vi stepped through as well, taking off her shoes. “Yeah, I’ll drop by and walk with you.”
