It's an ordinary day. You are sitting with Kie, Sarah, Pope, John B and JJ on the beach. You're talking to Kie and Sarah. John B and Pope are drinking beer near you. JJ looks at you, unable to take his eyes off you.

"You look pretty..." he said quietly, he thought he said it in his mind.

you turned towards him and raised an eyebrow, "did you say something?" you tucked a strand of hair behind your ear.

"Umm, I told you you looked shitty." JJ quickly got up from the blanket, walking over to his surfboard, "bye" he walked away from them, tripping on the sand along the way. He stood up, brushed off the sand and moved on, quickly entering the water.
