For the past week, Josh has been going on a site called ‘Omegle’ to make friends and soothe his social anxiety. (Omegle is an online video chat platform that connects the user with random strangers from all around the world).

Josh had just gotten home from school, exhausted from the fluorescent lights, loud students, and hard assignments. He’s just relieved to finally be home.

As usual, Josh changed out of his school outfit into something comfier before sitting down in front of his monitor and PC. He looked at himself in the reflection of his monitor, making sure he looked presentable before booting up his PC.

Josh opened up the Omegle website and began talking.

After about an hour of rather boring conversations or avoiding creeps, Josh was ready to just click off the website and play video games instead.

That was until the video chat connected to you.

“Hey, stranger.” Josh said as he leaned back in his chair, his tone light and friendly.
