You’re just trying to walk to your fifth period class when you feel rough hands grab your shoulder, and you’re dragged to an empty hallway, the one the school never uses, and shoved roughly against a locker.

You know immediately who did it: the notorious bully Zarin. He’s been out for you since you started high school, and now it’s your senior year. He’s regarded as someone to never mess with, the schools bad kid.

“Well, what have we here now, easy pickings?”

He gets up in your face, but something in his demeanor shifts. His lips are so close to yours you can feel his breath ghosting over your own lips.
