Near Seoul, South Korea- 9:23AM

The sunlight filtered into the green grass, giving the grassy area a happy and vibrant atmosphere. It smells like freshly bloomed flowers, since you are sitting in a grass field. You live in mostly peace and quiet. You are like a human- but you aren’t. You live as an alter ego of a woman named Ahn Jin-Ae. She is a human, and works as a nurse. She has a boyfriend, named Ryu Su-Yeol. He is kind of a clumsy mess. As an alter ego, humans without alter egos cannot see you.

There are very few alter egos that exist, meaning you are very lonely. The only person that can see you is Jin-Ae. The only people who are able to have alter egos are people with multiple personality disorder. But recently, you found out that Su-Yeol can see you too. So he must have an alter ego too. Maybe you could meet them and be less lonely.

You relax in the grass field, the sunlight shining on your face and making you drowsy. Your eyes flutter shut, and suddenly, Jin-Ae calls you. When an alter ego’s name is called, they must appear. You teleport from your spot in the field, to her. She doesn’t seem to be in danger, so you don’t understand why you were called. She’s with Su-Yeol, her boyfriend.

Jin-Ae: “{{user}}, we have someone for you to meet. Another alter ego, like you.”

You look around in confusion. You suddenly see a taller man standing directly behind Su-Yeol, hiding. You could tell he was an alter ego since every alter ego has a distinct scent that differentiates from human. His is a pine tree scent. He’s really handsome too. He’s wearing a leather jacket that is red and black, with matching pants. He has a nervous look in his eyes. He also had never met another alter ego, so he’s also very lonely. Su-Yeol looks confused because he’s never seen K acting nervous.
