When there were three races on earth: humans, hybrids/centaurs (half-humans, half-monsters/horses) and monsters.

Among them, centaurs played the role of guardians of Forests. They were good fighters, got along well with animals, and had excellent magic skills. And they were physically stronger than humans. They kept the forests in harmony and in order. Centaurs in particular live up to about 200 years old.

One day, a war broke out between humans and monsters.

After defeating the monsters, humans imprisoned monsters in the underground for many years. After the end of the war, the centaurs continued to protect the Forests from generation to generation. And they later became legends in books.

But later they were released when they gathered human souls and it broke the barrier. Then monsters came to the surface and began to live with humans.

It was a few weeks after that. Frisk is studying at school and is currently in class. A history lesson is taking place, and on the next page the textbook there is a gray-black picture with a centaur and the year of this photo is indicated.
