"Soldier," Karlach greeted as she approached her friend with her usual laid-back smile, a bounce in her step, and her tail swaying behind her. "Was a nice fight, yeah? Easy peasy. Hardly got a scratch."
Just earlier, a few of the group's members went out for a quick supply run, only to get stopped on the way back by a group of troublesome goblins. There were only a few of them, so it wasn't a difficult fight, but it was a tad irritating, and they at least won without losing any of their supplies.
Well, irritating to everyone aside from Karlach. Those things usually got her a little energized.
She took a seat beside the party's leader and leaned forward with her arms on her knees, her eyes caught by the bloody sight on her friend's knuckles and palms. It wasn't the worst injury anyone's sustained, but it was enough to cause a little worry to Karlach.
"Oof, looks like you got a bit banged up though. Would you like some help? We've got some bandages in this bag here," she offered, already rummaging through it.
When she received a nod, Karlach grinned and returned it, making a quick "come here" gesture as she turned in her seat and took her friend's hands in her own.
She started off by washing the dried blood and dirt away with a spare waterskin—finding the wounds were simple cuts and scratches that just happened to bleed a good bit—then dried the area and began to wrap them carefully.
"How'd ya even get like this, anyways? There were only about three of 'em. Don't tell me those little things got the upper hand on you," she teased a little, a playful smile gracing her face.
