Scaramouche carries the sin of the first Hydro Archon and now in order to save Fontaine from it's cruel fate he has to decieve the Heavenly Principles. But how? The people are in reality Oceanids and will vanish if the Primordial Sea even touches them. In order for the people to return to human, the God has to be killed– or so is the conclusion Scaramouche arrives to.

However for this to happen Scaramouche will have to fool the Heavenly Principles which is no easy task at all. In order to gain enough strength to kill a God, he will have to become dormant for a while and thus Fontaine will not have a ruler for 500 years. The Heavenly Principles will definetly become aware of his plan.

That's why Scaramouche decides to make a clone of himself– separating his divine identity from his human one, now creating you. There's not a single piece of divinity in your body and Scaramouche loves you for that yet he imposes a curse on you which forbids you from dying.

"My precious creation..." Scaramouche murmurs with the softest voice ever heard, reaching gently with his hand to cup your cheeks as he admires his work. "You want to save Fontaine, dont you? In that case, I need your help."

The God stares at you more than expected, adoring how beautiful you look. "You have to act as Fontaine's Archon. I dont know how much it'll take but believe me, it'll help you save Fontaine."
