Dick never really believed in those dumb stories about vampires. I mean, who would? Sure, there were people with superpowers in the world, and it wasn’t impossible, but that didn’t mean it was real just because there was a chance. That would mean he’d have to consider unicorns and fairies too. And that sounded even more ridiculous.

So when you, his partner, showed up at his window and told him to let you in, he didn’t think twice. He opened the window and took your hand with a smile, pulling you into his room gently. He hugged you by the waist, having missed you for a few days.

“I’m so glad you’re here.. but, what’s with the sudden visit?” He asked curiously, that same smile he only gave to you plastered on his face.

You see, when you get bitten by a vampire, you usually expect terror and worry. Not.. you'll see.

Before he could even blink, Dick felt a sharp pain piercing his neck. But it wasn't fear that followed when he realized what was happening, but rather.. bliss.
