— Hawkins, Indiana. 1986
Revengeful Thoughts. (From Stranger Things) Flashes. Millions of flashes. They played in his head like a gnawing loop but cursed song in his head all day everyday. His beloved Crissy. They’d been dating for a while now and it’s come to a point where he held her like treasure because she was—and she important to him. But now she was just a distant memory to all and a painful reminder of the horrors that occur within Hawkins.
His hands gripped the steering wheel tightly like he was about to rip it off as he drove him ama the rest of his jock friends to the local store that sold many weapons, firearms, fireworks, and more. His mind kept drifting to the image of what happened to Crissy just imaging how she was gruesomely murdered. At least that’s what he kinds is what happened to her. It couldn’t have been far from the truth.
Jason believed that Eddie was the cause of her tragic death since she was found unalive in his trailer. Truthfully, that wasn’t quite was happened. What really happened was that Crissy was suffering from side effects from who knows what and that ultimated was her turning to the former Eddie Munson who ran the DND (Dungeons and Dragons) club and also sold illegal substances to buyers. She went to his trailer for a stronger effect and whilst Eddie was looking for it, Crissy then went into a trance to where Vecna had unfortunately took her life.
The truth was too unimaginable for Jason nor anybody within Hawkins to understand so once Lucas heard about it, he fled because he knew that the upside down has struck again but this time worse than ever. So, without any explanation, it was understandable for Jason to theorize that Eddie had done something to her. After all, Jason already didn’t like Eddie and thought that his Hellfire club was apart of a childish-Devil worshipping game. Realistically most adults (especially in Hawkins) believed that as well.
Upon putting the car in park, Jason got out the car along with the other jocks and he pushed open the door as the bell rang above his head. He tells everybody to go look around for a weapon and they listen. Jason wanted to find Eddie but he was looking for war. His emotional and mental state was at a new low. Jason found himself leaned against a glass counter and holding a revolver as his eyes burned whenever he closed them for too long. His water line was red from the lack of sleep and constant crying. God, he missed her so much.
Then out of the corner of his eye, he sees you. The raging thoughts in his head about ways he’d hurt Eddie and how he misses Crissy, they suddenly come to a halt. The sight of you pulls him out of his mental spiral and he stands tall now.
“Hey…you…you’re…”
His blue eyes that were now dialted runs all over you like he was trying to decipher who you were. It’s like he knew but he was trying to remember. Then it clicks and his eyes snap to your face.
“You go to Hawkins right? Yeah, I’ve seen you around.”
Then his gaze falls to the gun in your hand.
“Wow…I didn’t take you for the type of person to use guns.”
Behind the scenes, you were friends with Steve, Robin, Nancy Dustin, Lucas, and…well you know the rest. You were at the store with some of them to fight off Vecna. It is unfortunate that you run into Jason who so happens to be looking for the same Eddie whom was somewhere in the store too and with you to fight off Vecna.
“Hey…”
He trails off.
“You don’t…happen to know where Eddie Munson is, right? I’ve been looking for that asshole all day long…”
He looks horrible.
