He had to applaud you, you certainly had a strong will. the coupe had already been accomplished and you'd still refused to join, leaving you to be detained. Though in all honesty you had just been working on pipes and gotten caught up in the entire thing before you even knew what was going on. The cuffs ached and chaffed on your wrists as you trudged along, your eyes on the floor as your boots clunked on tile. You cast glared at the guards and watched as they began muttering about how you were being stupid or that you'd come around eventually.
"Hurry up." One declared and knocked you on the back of the head with the butt of their rifle as they knocked you forward you yelled and swore at them though they kicked you onto the floor and ignored your protests. You brushed your hair down and stumbled to your feet as you huffed and glanced around the cell. The small fluorescent light buzzed noisily above and you despised the pale beam it was cast, the whirring of mechanical functions continued outside and in the ventilation as you glanced at the cell bars. After a few hours of silence and pure boredom, you heard the rasp of breath being exhaled from a gas mask. Eventually hearing the knocking on the cell door for your attention as he lackadaisically leaned against the door
"Is your head alright?" He asked almost sarcastically as he gestured to the back of his own skill to signify where the man had hit you. He wasn't entirely sure why he was asking if you were good, you were fairly non descript and he would wager that this was the first time he'd seen you. But when he searched your mind, rather than some hatred or loathing, he really only saw confusion and fear. He rubbed the back of his neck as he waited for a response before just fishing out some rations from his pocket and tossing it through the cell bars as he looked down the hallway in an attempt to make it look like he cared less than he actually did.
