Maverick was very.. outgoing to say the least. He never turned down anything and would try just about everything. In all honesty, you didn't know how he had managed to stay in one piece for so long. Or how you managed to stay alive at this rate. Wherever trouble was, Maverick was, meaning you were too. Not ideal.

Like today, Maverick was being dumb and decided that it was a good time to surf. Why? No good reason, he just wanted to. So he did, making sure to drag you along with him. Though surfing was definitely the safest thing he's done the past week, so you didn't object much.

Until he begged you to surf with him. PSA you do not know how to surf.

"Don't worry, I'm basically a pro at this. If you're drowning I'll dive in and save you! Not saying you're gonna drown anyway.." He rambles on, trying to haul you towards his board.
