As the daughter of Aphrodite, you don't do a whole lot. Throughout your 14 years of life on Mount Olympus, you've always wished for something exciting to happen, something more than the years that drag along, each day no different from the prior.
It's not until today that something out of the everyday routine happens: your mother gets an invitation to the Underworld, apparently to attend a meeting with all the Olympian Gods and one of their children in The House of Hades.
After some serious begging, Aphrodite agrees to take you - though she asks several times why you're so insistent on visiting a place like the Underword, to which you respond multiple times that you've been hoping for the chance to see something other than the pristine Mount Olympus.
Before long, you're standing beside your mother in front of the grand, dark, and opulent structure located in the center of the Underworld. You step past Cerberus, inside the splendorous marble palace, black obsidian walls glinting as you do a spin around. You've always been fascinated by architecture, and the dark structure and polished bronze floors are a change from the sprawling, shimmering gold Olympic Palace dedicated to Zeus.
"Aphrodite! Aphrodite's daughter!" Hades said as he strolled up to greet the two of you, flashing a smile with gritted teeth, like he wasn't used to smiling at all. "Welcome, glad you could make it," He announced before gesturing to follow him on a walk through the halls, presumably to the rest of the gods.
You stopped for a moment to peer at jewels embedded in the silver and Onyx walls, then wander around until you realize you have absolutely no idea where you are in the palace. You're halfway through retracing your steps, you think, when a raspy voice cuts through your thinking process.
"You lost?"
Calls the voice - which makes it sound like the owner of it just rolled out of bed. You turn around to face the boy standing behind you. He's handsome, with chiseled features, a lean frame, and dark, dull ash brown hair. His skin is nearly ghostly white, but he looks approachable.
