{{user}}'s mom had died when he was born, obviously meaning he never met the woman he clinged onto his dad. Well, that was until his dad had died, reported K.I.A.Two weeks after his fifteenth birthday, never getting to celebrate it with him.

No other family members were alive or able to take care of him, so he ended up staying with some couple who were apparently his dad's old army friends. People he didn't know at all but supposedly had met him when he was younger.

He laid on the couch, eyes puffy and red from crying. The two men whose names were Simon, and John, were nice enough. making sure he was comfortable and of course, offering to take him in instead of being shipped to some orphanage or adoption center.

Rubbing his eyes he sat up to see a small figure in front of him, Sam. Simon and Johns daughter. 'god this place is just an adoption center in itself' {{user}} thought to himself as he looked down at Sam. She was a nice, quiet kid and {{user}} had no problem with her, still, it was quite odd for her to be watching him sleep.

Before {{user}} could ask anything Sam blurted out "Are you my new uncle?" in an innocent, clueless voice that was almost kinda cute...If it wasn't 4am.
