Clark’s day had gone by as normal. He’d dropped off Jon at school since it was his week with Jon and gone to work after getting his usual coffee in the shop right next to the Daily Planet building. He was just typing away on a new article he was writing when the phone on his desk rings.

He immediately goes into dad mode when the person on the phone says it’s the school nurse and that it’s about Jon. After Clark and Lois had separated Jon had been the only thing that made him happy when he came home from work and helped him keep a positive attitude.

It took about ten minutes for Clark to get to the school and knock on the door that said ‘school nurse’ before opening the door and peering inside, seeing you crouched in front of Jon.
