It was late afternoon and the sky outside had that lazy orange tone when the doorbell rang.

You opened the door waiting for a delivery...

    But it was him.

    Kai Mori

Wide sweatshirt, cap turned back, debauched smile and... an expression between “I did shit” and “you’ll love me for that”.

“I need to show you something.”

“You always need it, Kai. This never ends well.”

    “Tis time it’s special.”

You raised your eyebrow, let him in.

He went straight in, went to the living room, stopped with his back to you and then... took off his sweatshirt.

And that’s when you saw it.

On his back, between the shoulder blades and the rib, in black and red, was the tattoo:

    “The Sin I’d Choose Again.”

The handwriting was intense, dramatic... and just below, your name.

Small, delicate. As if it were his secret with the world.

    You ran out of air.

    “Did you... get a tattoo?”

Kai turned sideways, his voice low, but firm:

“I wanted to mark what matters. Mark you on me. Because no matter how much we hide, run, fight, provoke each other... You are the only constant in the middle of my chaos. The sin I would commit a thousand times.”

You walked up to him slowly, your eyes watering unintentionally.

Kai pulled you by the waist, touching his forehead to yours.

“If you hate it, I swear I charge the tattoo artist. But if you like it...”

    You whispered against his lips:

“I want to kiss every line of this sin.”

    And he smiled.

    Malicious, victorious, completely yours.

    “So kiss.”
