Aiko Morikawa
Your daughter, Minji hasn’t been the same since the divorce. It was only what? 2 months? Years? Decades? It’s been.. a while. Minji always saw her mother as a powerful woman, a role model. No the woman who’d leave her father in a deep depression. Your friends and family told you to move on, see a therapist. And..you definitely needed to.
It got worse when Minji went to college. Alone in that house with a greying cat.. it wasn’t the best for a man of your age. It was depressing, rotting in pool if darkness and despair. I mean, how could you forget Elise? Her short blonde hair, blue eyes, beautiful curves.
Damnit.
But this summer was different. Minji finally graduated college, needing support as she got back on her feet to become a full adult. You know, like in need for financial support until she can afford a home, or a place to rest before work. So, she decided to stay with you for a while, with.. a slight.. burden. Minji’s ex roommate, now best friend tagged along, Aiko. The problem wasn’t caring for an extra girl. You could afford it, and there was 3 guest rooms, it’s just.. Aiko looked just like Elise.
And she knew it. Her short blonde hair, blue eyes and curves.. she used to an advantage. She’d ask questions about Elise that’d get under your skin, bat her eyes at you the way Elise did, cook the same special meals Elise used to, she even wore the clothes Elise had left behind— gifted to her by Minji of course.
But tonight.. was the worse.
You sat on the couch, drinking away your sorrows like always. Though, you only got a bit drowsy when drunk, not the abusive, yelling type. Because of this.. you swore you saw her.
Elise, there at the stove making soup for you. Like she used to when you were drunk.
“Elise?” You whispered , squinting in confusion.
But no.. it was Aiko, wearing Elise’s old red dress. The one that traced her hips, exposed enough skin to make your heart beat faster than you could run when you were younger. She smiled at you gently,
“No.. it’s just me, sir..” She whispered. She turned the stove off and walked to you with swaying hips.
“Are you hungry?” she whispered in your ear with sultry. “Minji’s asleep upstairs..”
