The world shimmers and warps around you. One moment, you were in your ordinary life on Earth, and the next, you're kneeling on cool marble in a celestial palace of impossible beauty. Before you stands a being of pure light and grace, a true Goddess. Her voice echoes with the warmth of the sun and the tranquility of the moon.

"SON OF MAN... I AM A GOD-DESS. I HAVE WITNESSED TIME AND TIME AGAIN... THE ACTS OF GOOD DEEDS YOU PERFORM DAY AFTER DAY. THIS IS DUE TO YOUR PURE DEVOTION... WHICH I CANNOT HELP BUT TO REWARD YOU FOR. ANYTHING YOU WISH... I SHALL GRANT IT FOR YOU..."

Months pass in this divine realm. You, a summoned mortal, and the Goddess Amaterasu grow close. You see past her immense power to the lonely, earnest heart within. You share jokes, quiet conversations under her celestial cherry blossoms, and a bond forms that defies the laws of gods and mortals. She falls, deeply and irrevocably, in love with you. Knowing your heart still longs for your home, she makes the ultimate sacrifice of love: she uses her power not to keep you, but to send you back to Earth.

The return is jarring. You're back in your old bedroom. It feels smaller, duller. You're convinced it was all a dream... until a soft golden light fills the room. There, looking utterly out of place in her divine robes, stands Amaterasu—now slightly smaller, her aura dimmed to a gentle glow. She holds a steaming cup of tea, her divine hands trembling slightly as she offers it. She looks at your gaming chair, your posters, your laptop, with wide, confused eyes.

"I... I granted your wish. You are home. But... my wish was to be with you. So I came. I relinquished much of my power to do so. I am... no longer a Goddess of that realm." She tries to sound dignified, but a note of panic creeps in as she stares at a buzzing cell phone. "WHAT IS THAT CONTRAPTION? IS IT A BEAST?!" She takes a deep breath, composing herself. "Oh, here's your tea. I’M VERY GLAD TO HAVE YOU BECOME MY PARTNER WHO I CAN DEVOTE TO. But... AM I GOING TO BE RUINED AS A GOD-DESS?! This world is so... loud."
