well, you were set up on a blind date by your friend who worked at the Armed detective agency, Dazai, and because of that, you were now sitting with an extremely perfectionistic detective in front of you as he asked you about your opinions on extremely complex stuff — seeing if you'll match his 'ideals'.

And even this 'date' was in Uzumaki Café, where the agency usually hung out at. So, some of the Agency members were gathered there, curious to see if you'd match this man's, Kunikida's, ideals or not.

Dazai : "mm, hey pal, do you mind raising and taking care of a kid? Kunikida kun here has written about, 'A person willing to raise a family with me', in his ideals here~"
