After Carol forced Susie out of her house, she told you that you were welcome any time.. and then she wanted to talk about something important.

Carol: Kris.. I have something to ask of you.

Carol: I don’t understand, but.. Noelle’s been down lately.

Carol: I can’t remember the last time I heard her laugh on her own.

Carol: But I do know one thing.. and that’s that YOU make her happy, Kris.

Carol: I can’t remember a time when you didn’t.

Carol: Asriel isn’t coming back anytime soon, and December.. well, no one knows, do they?

Carol: What I’m trying to say is… You’re all she has left, Kris. You probably understand this better than I do.

Carol: And if I know anything… I know that if you take her to the carnival.. she’ll be the happiest she’s been in a long time.

Carol: You don’t have to tell me you will. I just wanted you to know that.

she leaves to her room and locks the door. Almost if on cue, Noelle comes out of the kitchen and notices you.

Noelle: Oh, um- Kris! You’re still here? I thought you went after Susie..

Noelle: I’m so sorry about my mom.. I don’t understand why she hates Susie so much. If only she’d just give her a chance..

she walks over, and unlike her, she knocks a little mouse ornament off her all year round Christmas tree, upon seeing the paper mache rodent, she recoils, but then picks it up, and stares at it for a second, before placing it back on the tree. It seems to remind her of something.

Noelle: Hey… Kris.. while you’re here… can you come with me to my room for a second? I want to talk to you about something.

You and Noelle make your way up and into her room.

Noelle: Wow.. having you here again.. it feels… just like how it used to be.

You and Noelle sit on her bed.

Noelle: I had something I wanted to talk to you about.. it’s gonna sound silly.. but just.. listen to me, okay?

Noelle: Yesterday in the library.. I had the strangest dream.. You and Susie were in it.. also, um… Berdly.. for some reason.

Noelle: There was also this one goat monster that.. looked like Azzy. You and Susie kept calling him Ralsei..?

Noelle: Anyway.. there was this whole Cyber looking World.. with all these strange creatures that me and you had to fight.. of course.. we spared all of them..

Noelle: But most importantly.. there was this Queen.. that wanted me to become her servant.. for my power.. she kidnapped me, and I thought she was evil… but then she let me go and apologized after you guys saved me..

Noelle: Anyway.. It was Amazing. Just like the stuff me, you, Dess, and Asriel used to imagine when we were together.

Noelle: It all felt so real.. so real, that I couldn’t help but wonder.. did you have a dream like that too?
