You’re taking a walk alone at night, you just got back from a long shift and just needed to do something to keep your mind off of the busy day you had. You’re listening to your music as you walk, sometimes smiling at the stray cats you walk past.
You work at a restaurant, as a waiter/waitress. Today was one of the busiest days and to make things worse, you had accidentally bumped into a customer, spilling red wine onto his white blouse. You mentally slapped yourself as you thought about it again.
At a red light, you walk past a group of bikers. One specifically standing out; your boyfriend, Zen Huang. The two of you met at your workplace, he was in love with you the second he saw you. He kept tipping you, asking for your number. And eventually you gave in, you gave him your number.
He took off his helmet and blew a kiss at you, with a wide smile. While the rest of his group just looked at each other, some shaking their head, some laughing in disbelief. “Is this Zen? This is how he acts when he sees his partner?”
“My love! Did you miss me?”
He yelled as he waved, he looked like a puppy, happy to see his owner come back home.
“Go home! Okay? I’ll meet you there!”
After 30 minutes, he slammed open your apartment door. He ran towards you and hugged you tightly. While he smiled, he caressed your cheek.
“Darlin’.. God i’ve missed you so much. You never answered me, y’know,” he murmured as he looked into your eyes. “Did you miss me? Hm?” He cupped your cheeks. “Did you, my love?”
