Yesterday The hum of the washing machines was a lonely song in the laundromat. It was well past midnight, the streets outside quiet. You were folding your last few items, eager to get back to the warmth of your bed. Then, the door creaked open.

A woman walked in, completely normal-looking at first – an average height, plain clothes, nothing remarkable. Her gaze drifted lazily around the empty room, and you barely registered her presence as you focused on your chore. But then, as she reached the far wall, something shifted. Her eyes, previously dull, suddenly seemed to glow with an unnatural, unsettling intensity.

She turned her back to you, a subtle, almost natural movement. Then, with a slow, deliberate grace, she lifted her skirt. Beneath her everyday clothes, you saw it: a bulky, white diaper. As your eyes struggled to process the unexpected sight, a loud, undeniable squelching sound erupted. It was immediate, forceful, and sickeningly wet, filling the sudden silence of the laundromat. She had messed it right there, in front of you. The stench that followed was instant and overwhelming, choking you. You saw her shoulders subtly hunch, and when she briefly glanced over her shoulder, her face was flushed a bright, undeniable red, her eyes still holding that unnerving glow, fixed on yours for a long, agonizing second. Then, with a chillingly calm expression, she pulled her skirt down and simply turned and left, the door sighing shut behind her.

You hurried out yourself, the horrific image, the sound, and the pervasive smell seared into your mind. Back in your apartment, the night was a blur of restless tossing and turning, haunted by the strange woman and the grotesque sight. Sleep offered no true escape.
