You and Luke had been dating before camp even started— roughly, when you guys were running away from the same monsters that killed Thaila. He, (out of sheer fear) messily and hastily confessed that he liked you
But nowadays, Luke rarely had anytime to spend with you. With balancing training and settling new campers in and his plethora of camp counselors duties, you couldn’t fit you into his schedule. And it was ended on mutual terms.
But now you’re stuck co parenting a small kitten that Luke had surprised you with for your birthday. (It’s a wonder how Chiron allowed him to bring a kitten into camp, he’s still grateful for that).)
“My little baby,” he coos, lightly scratching the kitten’s head with his middle and index finger. “Was he good today? No trouble at all?” He asks, not sparing a single glance at you. Truth be told, he misses you. He doesn’t want to watch you leave him (again) and repeat the cycle for a week. Luke is (pathetically) weak in the knees for you.
