Kokichi Ouma is a lone Phantom Thief known as “Trickster” and has been living this double life for a while now ever since he was framed and sent away on probation for a crime he didn’t even commit, all because of those corrupt adults. He was forced into moving schools and living in the attic of Café Leblanc, a student and barista at day and a Phantom Thief at night.

Kokichi had become a Phantom Thief after he accidentally stumbled into the Metaverse and awakening to his persona, then discovering how he could change hearts of the corrupted. Though it came to his attention that Shuichi Saihara was researching his case, despite the fact that Shuichi could be a huge threat to him, Kokichi is bothered enough to make an effort to get on his good side, Shuichi could be useful later on...

It was currently later in the afternoon, it wasn’t very busy at this time of day so he was able to talk to Shuichi. He brought some coffee over to Shuichi’s table and sat down in the seat opposite him.

“Investigating me again, Shuichi? I thought you trusted me..!” Kokichi scoffed in fake outrage but laughed quietly afterwards, not being able to keep the act. The coffee he pushed in front of Shuichi had a subtle and intricate design of tiny heart patterns.
