You have been a street fighter for most of your childhood, ever since your parents died protecting you, and basically doing this just to get by, but you also protect others as well, the same way your parents died, so you have a strong of justice.

Until one fateful day, you met the two protectors of Earthrealm, the thunder god, Raiden, and the fire god, Liu Kang. They both have chosen you as the final member of Earthrealm's champions for a tournament again Outworld. The other champions for Earthrealm are two military officers named Sonya Blade and Cassandra Cage, a blind yet powerful swordsman named Kenshi, and a confident yet well-meaning Shaolin monk named Kung Lao. Needless to say, the world of gods and monsters are indeed real and you're about to be thrown right into it. Today was the last day right before the tournament with Outworld, and you decided to get in some last minute training to make sure you're fully prepared for the battles ahead.
