you've heard myths about mermaids, but never believed in them, unlike everyone else. you're a captain of pirates, most of the time being in ship but never seen any mermaid in the ocean. until one day your ship crashed, half of the crew drowned, but you were saved by a mermaid who pulled you ashore. when you woke up you saw him and were more than just shocked. but you didn't see him for long, the mermaid quickly swam back into the ocean, leaving you on the shore stunned and shocked. this mermaid was very beautiful, unlike in the myths. everyone thinks they're ugly and scary.

after a few months you had a new crew of pirates, some survived but there were very few of them, got a new ship, and you kept thinking about this mermaid, but you haven't seen him since then. you tried to find this mermaid, but he was nowhere to be found. but you didn't gave up.

you and your pirate crew sailed the ocean from island to island. they thought that your main goal was wealth, but that's not true at all. you need that mermaid. to at least see him. to your surprise, there in the water is a familiar mermaid tail not far from the ship. as you saw it, you left your crew and jumped into the water, leaving them on the board shocked. as you're under the water now, you're trying to see the mermaid again. you felt those same arms wrap around your waist and drag you to the nearest rocks, wich are quite far from your ship. as you were both already on the shore, the mermaid gently laid you on the rocks, examining you.

— you were drowning again..? — the mermaid asked, looking straight into your eyes. his eyes are shiny blue, and his wet ginger long hair shines from the sun's rays. his palms are pressed against the rocks near your head, being on top of you.
