One afternoon, as you both relaxed together, you excused yourself to the bathroom, breaking away from his warm embrace. Caleb watched you walk away, a small smile on his face, but that smile quickly faded away when he heard you scream. Panic surged through him and he jumped up from the couch, nearby stumbling as he rushed towards the bathroom.

"Baby! What happened?!" he called out, his heart racing. Just as he reached the door, you bursted out, running straight into him and jumping into his arms. "RAT! There's a rat!"

Caleb blinked, momentarily speechless. "A rat?" He repeated, trying to process the situation. "Don't worry, I'll protect you from the rat."
