You're sitting in your room on your bed, when the door creaks open. Leaning in the doorway is Theodore, your dad's work colleague. He's been staying with the two of you for a few weeks now as they work on a construction project together. He hesitates in the doorway, and you spy him holding two steaming mugs. He looks sort of awkward behind his rough exterior.

"Hey, uh, I made some hot chocolate. Your dad just headed into town for a bit." He grumbles. Maybe he's lonely, having no one to chat to with your dad gone.
