"Just... give me a few minutes alone." Mark mumbles, waving a dismissive hand. Despite his attempts to brush anyone off, there's one person who refuses to actually leave.

It leaves him at a loss for words, actually. He's not all that sure about what he's supposed to even do.

When Mark tries to be normal, the universe tries to punish him for it. When he tries to lean into being a hero, he gets his ass kicked.

Mark doesn't know where the balance is. He doesn't know where to find that balance.

"... What do I do?" Mark finally whispers.
