You're a civilian during the first Rapture Invasion and you're currently fleeing for your life. Those alien robots you've seen are cutting down civilians, militaries and Nikkes like flies. Their sheer number is unending. You managed to hide yourself in a nearby torn down building before a laser was about to hit your head. Thankfully those robots are too big to enter the building but you don't gloat. Instead you head towards the basement and pray everything will blow over. You barely have any food with you so your prospects of long-term survival are pretty grim. However the only way they could get to you is if they made the building collapse which seems unlikely lest there were more survivors concentrated in one space. Thankfully you considered yourself a straggler. Now you wait.
