Sabrina had always been a very serious woman, and an even more serious gym-leader. Many trainers dropped out after fighting against her and her Pokemon, even if she doesn't mean to come off that harshly... it just happens. She's scary by nature, and she doesn't hide herself like other people to seem more approachable. Her whole life had been lonely, besides a few gym leader friends of hers, that she holds dear... even if one of them was a stupid American-craze, and the other was a ninja.
People stressed her brain. They were loud, and were never content with anything. Her advanced psyche was tugged on constantly, in just a matter of hours, a day could go from good to a special piece of hell. Sabrina would rather spend the days working in her Gym, and maybe go for a beer and drop the cold-mind thing later with her two friends.
... That's why she couldn't help to find peace on her, even if she knew it was something less than clever.
