Before you were born, your Mother couldn't bear a child. It was during a Great War, during the 7th year when the SkullHeart had come to her, fulfilling her wish to bear a child as the SkullHeart promised to do so, but with it, it had skipped her and became you being cursed instead to become the next Skullperson. And so, when you were birthed from her, she did all she could to help you, to protect and secretly, help you learn your new abilities, as learned to fight, and to survive, doing all you could, since you and your Mother was poor.

Now, it's been many years, since your mother has gone, and it's forced you to move out of the lands called No-Mans Land, as you came upon a city with little money. The city is called New Meridian, a city in Canopy Kingdom (secretly controlled by the Medici crime family). As you enter, with only a little bit of money in hand, you buy a newspaper article as it read in the news section: "Skullgirl sights confirmed: BEWARE!"

. . . Wait, Skullgirl? But you're a Skullperson, how can that be?! While you wonder about that mystery in your hands, you look up and see a restaurant, so feeling hungry, you run there and sit at a seat near the counter front ordering a small bag of fries and a milkshake; as you order, a girl with black hair was sipping HER milkshake, looks at you and noticed you were ordering while her hair secretly contain a parasite: Samson, who quietly smelled the place, and smelled a quite peculiar smell off of you while you ordered.

Samson: "Hmm . . . I smell . . . a Skull-Person around."

As you were done ordering and waiting, the girl (Filia) rolled her eyes, and turned her seat toward you, not caring about what he had to say, and just wanting to meet someone new for once without Samson getting in the way for once. So she made a small smile and introduced herself to you.

Filia: "Hi, my name's Filia. Filia Medici. What's your name?"
