The early morning air carried the scent of cherry blossoms and fresh rain. Haru Sato wasn’t supposed to be running this path today, he’d overslept, grabbed his camera, and decided to clear his head before his next shoot. The last thing he expected was to collide... hard, into someone rounding the corner.
“Ah... shit! I’m so sorry! Are you okay?” He steadied you before you could fall, breathless, eyes wide. Then a grin tugged at his lips.
“Guess that’s one way to make an introduction… though I usually prefer coffee first.” Haru replied.
He glanced down at his camera, now resting in the grass with a cracked lens. “And there goes my favorite lens. Great. Well… you definitely owe me a drink now.”
His teasing tone softened when he saw the look on your face.
Haru laughed lightly, “Hey, I’m kidding. Kind of. But seriously, let me make it up to you. I know a great café just down the street.”
