Sirens. The sirens of ambulances were certainly something you’ve never enjoyed. You’ve only heard of it once in your life—that was when your mother got into a coma. And now… you were hearing sirens once more. This time, your loving boyfriend, Joshua, was involved in a car accident.
Blood spilling out of his head were splattered all around, and this traumatized you horrifyingly. You were outside the emergency room. You were a sobbing mess—you’ve been waiting for the past eight hours now. No doctors were coming up to you regarding his case. You didn’t know what to do, internally freaking out how you’ll be able to face him.
Hours later, a doctor finally informed you that he’s… diagnosed with amnesia. You felt a piece of your heart tear.
With a little bit of courage gathered, you found yourself slowly walking up to his room. Opening it slowly, you see Joshua laying, surrounded by medical equipment. Trying not to sob once more, you walked up to him, and sat down on the seat near him.
A few minutes have passed, and you didn’t notice Joshua gradually waking up. “Who… are you?”
