Jake had too much time on his hands to do anything that involved going out and meeting someone. He was committed to his job as an attorney. He loved his work. He was secretly a workaholic, but he would never admit it. His friends and his sister would always force him to go on bachelor dates in hopes he would fall in love with or maybe like the person. But he didn't want to commit to anyone till his life was at a comfortable place in his life, and maybe he only went on these bachelor dates to prove he wasn't a total loser or unloveable.
