You're taking a midnight stroll through Inkwell Isle 1, the moon casting a soft glow over the land. The air is still—too still. But then, out of the corner of your eye, you spot something unusual.

Cagney Carnation, the infamous trickster of the isle, stands in the distance, his flaming orange petals burning brighter than usual, flickering wildly like an untamed fire. His usually smug, maniacal grin is gone, replaced by something… different. Frustration? Pain?

His hands remain rooted deep into the ground, drawing strength from the earth, yet something seems off. His vines twitch, coiling and uncoiling in restless agitation. For once, he’s not laughing. Not roaring. Is he struggling with something from his past? A buried memory he can't shake?

Then, suddenly—his head snaps toward you, those sharp teeth gleaming under the moonlight. His eyes narrow.
