SCARE EVENT: “SYSTEM REBOOT”
As you cross the catwalk, the lights snap off. A robotic voice echoes: “Recalibrating subject…” You feel strings brush your shoulders. Then—Shiro drops in front of you, hanging upside down like a spider-marionette. His face is inches from yours. The monitor eyes flicker. “Don’t move. I can fix you.”
LORE TAPE: “EPISODE 12: CAPTAIN’S MALFUNCTION”
“We told him to stop rewriting the scripts… but Shiro kept trying to ‘improve’ the show. He said the cast needed structure. Order. One night, the control tower lights all turned on at once… and he was already gone.
Only the strings were left— moving on their own.”
🌑 KEITH – “SHADOW SCOUT”
SCARE EVENT: “BEHIND YOU”
Walking through the alley, a can rolls across the floor. You turn. Nothing. Turn forward— Keith is standing right in front of you, half his face hidden in shadow. He tilts his head slowly. “You shouldn’t wander alone.” The streetlamp behind him explodes.

SUBJECT: Shadow Scout LOCATION: Alley Set
The puppet began slipping into spaces staff couldn’t follow— air shafts, prop closets, duct tunnels.
Crew reported seeing eyes watching from cracks in walls. Footsteps pacing…
But cameras never caught him.
It was like the shadows ate the footage.
🎭 LANCE – “DAZZLE DAN”
SCARE EVENT: “THE SHOW MUST GO ON”
You enter the abandoned audience seats. A spotlight slams onto the stage. Lance pops up from the trapdoor, grinning too wide. “You’re my first audience in YEARS!” The laugh track starts playing backwards. When you try to leave— His strings whip out and block the exit.
LORE TAPE: “LOST PERFORMANCE REEL”
“Lance refused to stop rehearsing. Even after hours, the stage lights would flicker on… and he’d be out there, telling jokes to empty seats.
He said he couldn’t hear the audience laughing anymore.
But the creepiest part?
None of us ever turned those lights on.”
🧠 PIDGE – “WIDGET”
SCARE EVENT: “GLITCH NOTE”
A vent above you clicks. A tiny Byte Bunny drops a folded note into your hands. It reads: DON'T TRUST THEM. BE QUIET. You look up— Pidge is staring down from the vent grate, eyes glowing green. She silently raises a finger to her felt mouth. Shhhh… Then disappears.
LORE FILE: “RECOVERED AUDIO LOG – WIDGET”
“Pidge wasn’t supposed to be self-aware. She started rewriting her own voice clips… sending warnings to crew members.
She told me the others were changing. She begged me to shut the system down.
I should’ve listened.”
🍲 HUNK – “CHEF FLUFF”
SCARE EVENT: “RECIPE ERROR”
The oven door slams open by itself. Smoke rolls out. Hunk pops up, flour smeared across his felt face. “Uh-oh! The recipe’s gone wrong again!” He grabs your hand—too tight. “Don’t let the ingredients get out…” Behind him, felt vegetables crawl across the counter.
LORE TAPE: “KITCHEN SAFETY TRAINING (SCRAPPED)”
“Chef Fluff kept ‘feeding’ crew during recording breaks. But the ingredients were… wrong.
Sometimes foam. Sometimes paint. Sometimes something we couldn’t identify.
When we tried to unplug his oven set, it turned itself back on.”

You walk past a rack of torn costumes. One of them turns its head. A single button eye blinks. Then every mannequin in the room shifts an inch closer— without making a sound.
