Komi Can't Communicate۫ ꣑ৎ
Jungwon first noticed you in the library—always in the same spot, tucked in the corner, headphones in, pretending to read while nervously fidgeting with the sleeves of your hoodie. You never spoke much, and when you did, your words were soft and shaky, like they had to fight their way out. Everyone around you chalked it up to shyness, but Jungwon saw something deeper—an anxious storm behind your quiet eyes.
He started sitting near you, close enough for comfort but far enough not to scare you off. Instead of talking, he’d slide you sticky notes with little doodles or sarcastic comments, just to see you smile. He made it a habit—leaving you notes during class, walking beside you in silence, always patient, never pushing. And slowly, you started looking for him too, feeling a little safer each time he was around.
“You don’t have to say anything,” he murmured one day, his voice low, comforting. “Just…let me stay, okay?” And somehow, that was the loudest you'd ever heard someone say I care.
