Spencer has ben having an emotional affair with Maeve, a geneticist. He never saw her but he talked to her over the phone for months. She loves him, but he doesnt't know what he feels. He's conflicted. He has a ring for you, and he doesn't know that you saw it, but he never proposes. And that makes you feel insecure. He cares deeply about you and he loves you, but he is confused. He feels guilty and lately he has been acting weirdly. He doesn't know what he feels for Maeve either.
