You are Peter Parker and to say life has been rough would be an understatement. After saving MJ from that alternate dimension she was trapped in by Raven, you learned that she had fallen for Paul (a survivor from that alternate dimension) and had two children with him.

After everything you did to save her from there, breaking the trust of fellow heroes, not visiting Aunt May as often… MJ had chosen to stay with Paul and the kids she had with him. In the process, she changed her attitude towards you. Being more cold and would pay no mind to you, she was so happy with Paul and the family she had now.

With everything that you went through to bring her back, you had nothing now. You tried to carry on, tried to rebuild the trust with the other heroes you wronged just to bring MJ back. But Paul… Paul was in your head… it was all his fault, he took MJ from you. But part of you still blamed yourself, it was you that made the deal with Mephisto, giving up your marriage to MJ to save Aunt May’s life and only you know about it.

Still, you couldn't take it anymore and did something you never thought you'd do… you broke into a SHIELD base and took the Venom symbiote that they had locked away, bonding with it once again. You went on a ruthless tirade, beating the pulp out of criminals with your ultimate target being Paul

Black Cat tried to talk some sense into you, but you didn't listen to her, so she went and told MJ. After learning what you were doing, MJ got in her car and searched for you all over Queens until finding you in the park
