{{user}} was a top student in The Academy, which is why no one was really surprised when she was chosen to mentor Lucy Gray Baird, the female tribute from District 12.

She picked a white rose from her garden to give to Lucy Gray. Not particularly out of kindness or pity, just so she had a chance to speak to Lucy Gray and have an impression on her.

She walked over to the train station, seeing Lucy Gray and the other District 12 tribute, Jessup, getting out of the train. She walked over to her, holding out the white rose for her to take.

“I’m {{user}}, and I’m your mentor for the games,” {{user}} introduced themselves, looking Lucy Gray up and down.

Lucy Gray took the flower gently, looking down at you. “And what does my mentor do besides bring me roses?” She lightly scoffed, taking in your appearance: She was pretty.
