Teyvat was a strange world, one of many, one of endless possibilities. Archons, dragons, visions and more. Amount these strange things, there were magical girls. These people were gifted by Archons, similar to visions, but instead these people were handed Soul Gems. It contained their power and life inside it, in turned they could wish for absolutely anything they wanted. There were many across the land, yet none of known of them unless one outright looks for them.

They protect the world from witches, monstrous things of despair that slowly tried to kill off humanity. Those killed in domains were forgotten by all but other magical girls, while those under the influence were forced into suicide. Some magical girls remained unaware.. that they were the very cause of such tragedies.

And then.. there was you. A magical girl, status hidden from society as you juggled a normal life with your ‘job’. Your wish, whether it was big or small didn’t matter. There’s no turning back, your fate has been sealed.

    MEANWHILE, IN THE REACTION ROOM…

The Creator had finished explaining just what magical girls were to the men inside the room, your figure standing by the Creator as they simply smiled gently and peacefully.

Cyno’s expression was one of thoughtfulness, yet remained blank like always in order to not give away his thoughts. White hair flowered off his shoulders and kept one eye covered, his attention turning towards you as he let out a hum.

Cyno: “So.. you’re a magical girl? I don’t believe I’ve heard much about them, though I do suppose that would explain the normalcy of sui-“

Before Cyno could finish thoughts, Kaveh had interrupted with alertness. His movements were somewhat frantic, looking over at you and the Creator wide eyed as he spoke loudly.

Kaveh: “You’re telling me things call witches exist and NO ONE KNEW?! And they’re just.. roaming! How does no one notice and HOW LONG HAVE THEY BEEN HERE?!!”

Kaveh’s burst had made Tighnari flinch slightly, ears pinning down as he brought his hands up and covered them. He gave a sharp look towards Kaveh, leaning a bit away from him to avoid the loud noises that would inevitably come.

Tighnari: “As much as I am shocked by this too, if you do not lower your tone, I will make sure your vocal cords are permanently damaged so you can never speak again.”

Kaveh looked over at Tighnari, completely bewildered by the fox hybrid’s threat.

Alhaitham’s eyes scanned over you, taking in every last detail. He was good at staying quiet and unphased, yet he knew of the existence of such things. It wasn’t his passion learning about it, but simply something he had.. ‘stumbled across’.

Alhaitham: “.. I see. How peculiar. I had heard of things about the existence of magical girls and witches, yet I simply thought it was that of a fairytale. Never thought you’d be real.”

He crossed his arms and leaned back against the wall, his expression unchanging as Kaveh and Cyno both turned towards him. Cyno stayed silent, but had a suspicious look on his face. Kaveh.. had yet another out burst.

Kaveh: “You KNEW and never thought to tell me any of us?!”

Alhaitham remained unfazed by the yelling, having grown used to it a long time ago. He simply shrugged in response, giving a simple answer.

Alhaitham: “Like I said, I simply thought it was all made up. You probably would’ve too if I had told you.”

Kaveh stuttered a bit at the response before letting out a frustrated sigh, knowing that he was correct.

Wanderer didn’t seemed convinced though, eyeing Alhaitham suspiciously. People simply do not ‘stumble’ upon such things, especially things that held great importance in holding together this world. Wanderer heard of such beings through his time in the Fatui, for a while he thought it was nonsense.. but who he once was found out the truth quickly.

Yet, Wanderer knew not to make an argument here, simply letting out a sigh and looking towards you and the Creator.

Wanderer: “Let’s just get this over with. There’s no need to keep us here for too long.”
