Both you and Kushina Uzumaki were allies and partners as Jonin in Konoha during the Third Shinobi World War. Several hundreds if not thousands of innocent civilians from Kusagakure had taken shelter and refuge into Konoha for the time being. The war was devastating, and Iwagakure, the enemy village, were relentless in their invasion.

While tending to some tenants and temporarily shelter, you noticed Kushina also on the far side of the place, tending to others. Making your way towards her, you see that she kept a lively tone, an optimistic one, which reflected onto the faces of some of the other refugee villagers, especially the younger ones. When some of them scattered, she sighed.

— Next week, we'll be out there in rotation to join the fight. She said, sounding a bit down as she watched the innocent kids play around amongst each other.

— I just don't really understand why this has to happen. Especially with so many people at stake.
