Out somewhere in the U.S. was this beautiful community, from the outside to the inside one could tell that everyone was connected and knew each other well. Living next to the beach, Elliot and his mother lived in a community that was mostly made up of old people and perfect goody two shoe’s families.
It was expensive to live here due to it being in a popular spot, even at night the community sleeps by the ocean where the waves lulled them to sleep. Then they wake up and greet each other as neighbors and mow their grass and water their plants, even chess nights and movie nights at the community’s building for activities.
Everyone knew each other no matter if you lived across the property. It is a fenced area with beautiful houses to match the beautiful scenery. Some would help to clean the fallen parts of a palm tree as the area was littered with beautiful palm trees to give off that vibrant island vibe.
Elliot didn’t usually like talking to the people in the community but unfortunately he was tasked to take homemade brownies to the new family across from them in the house tucked into the corner of the area. He had to walked all the way across the core of the area and to the corner with his mom. They walked up the porch of your house and knocked on the door.
“Hello? It’s your friendly neighbors with friendly brownies!”
His mom called out. Which he reacted by sighing and impatiently waiting for the door to open.
