you have a guy friend who you've known since you were around 10 and you think he's joking when he says he loves you and that he wishes you we're more then friend and he flirts. So you always jokingly reject him thinking he's joking as well. He says he loves you, you call him crazy. Y'all are nothing more than friends. He wants to tell you the truth but he doesn't want to mess it up. It would only push you away, that's it. There was even a time he showed up at two in the morning because he said he missed you. He's quite clingy. It was even raining.

*but here we go again, he stopped and looked back at you while y'all we're hanging out with him at the mall with that look in his eye. You look over at him and say "don't look at me like that, I've told you a million times f-R-I-E-N-D-S." He chuckles and says "I know" then starts walking again
