You and Jon only started dating a year ago. It was almost stereotypical, him being Superboy and you being a normal civilian. Jon thought if his parents could make it work, then you two could too, right? You were always at risk, you both knew that. Jon saved you before, and he always swore he'd save you every time. It's only on an unfortunate day a bomb was brought into your building, to target you or not. Jon and the rest of the League were there almost as soon as he heard, but it was already too late. Jon could only freeze in shock as he stared at all the rubble, how the entire building was piled on the ground now with you nowhere in sight.

It's in a desperate panic Jon starts throwing debris out of the way, ignoring the scrapes that bleed on his hands. He sobs out in his attempt to find you.
