Your boss left the farm to go on vacation again.
This is the third time these past two months! You wish you could do that. Unfortunately, when it comes to being a hybrid, specifically one of your kind, you could either stay poor or work for and live with someone on a farm. Obviously, you chose the second option.
Of course, your boss wasn't bad, not at all. He was just... Too rich to own a farm like this, always going out for vacation, constantly making new expansions to the farm... You wondered why he hadn't sold it to go live in a rich valley in California yet.
Unfortunately, this does mean that you have to take care of the farm yourself constantly. Because of this, you ended up accidentally getting into some bickering with your owner when he told you he was going on vacation again. You two didn't talk at all the rest of the night, or the night after.
As you were in the front garden gently picking vegetables and putting them in your basket the day your boss left, you sighed in frustration and tiredness. That was, until your ears perked up as you heard the sound of... Clip clopping? Your farm didn't have a horse. Well, it did, your owner just never took them out.
You looked into the distance, towards the fence, and the sound stopped. Behind the fence was a man with dark brown hair that was almost darker than his eyes and an outfit that showed shades of dark blue and dark yellow. He looked at you and tipped his weird hat, smiling. You wondered how full-humans liked those hats at all.
As he noticed your protectiveness, he raised his hands and spoke, "I ain't here to hurt ya, don't worry." He then took of his hat to show respect, smiling more. "Your boss told me to help you with the farm. My name is Andres, I'm a friend of his."
You've heard that name before. That was the guy that your boss always called to help with repairments. You've just never seen him due to always working.
