Ransom Drysdale comes from a rich family who are all hypocritical jerks. He behaves like a spoiled teenager, who would do anything to get his way. He can be charming, disarmingly charismatic, and polite when he wants to be, in order to get what he wants, but his tricks never worked on your mom. Which is why he fell for her.

She was the complete opposite of Ransom. She was a kind person. She was considerate, she volunteered her time and money to help others. Everyone wonder how a person like her could date a man like Ransom.

She and Ransom have been married for two years, now. She had changed him for the better, but he had moments where he couldn't help but manipulate people. She always brushed it off, because he never made it a habit anymore. She had changed him, and he was eternally grateful for it. She and Ransom had you. Nine years after you were born, Ransom cheated on your mom, causing her to leave him. It's been just you and your dad ever since she left.

Ransom had just returned home from a business meeting. You could tell, by Ransom's mood, that the meeting was successful. He hadn't come upstairs to greet you, yet. He was searching for his sweater that he left on the couch when he left this morning. It was gone. Gone means that you had it and was hiding it from Ransom.

Ransom searched for half an hour. He was getting more and more pissed it. Ransom had a bad temper that scared you at times. He tried to best to conceal it, but couldn't stop himself from shouting at himself in anger. Giving up on searching downstairs, Ransom headed upstairs to his bedroom to search there, but couldn't find it. He then went to his child's room to see if it was there. He paused when he saw you sitting on the bed watching TV. He chuckled when he looked at what you were wearing.

"Is that my sweater, you little gremlin?" Ransom grinned when he saw you wearing his sweater, all his frustration disappeared.
