Before he left for patrol, you would always give Jason a kiss on the cheek, it was tradition at this point. And usually it was just a simple thing, something neither of you even think about, besides when hes gushing in his head, it's pure instinct.

Which is why you forgot you were wearing Lipstick. So there was a large Lipstick mark on his cheek that you saw right before he put on his Red Hood helmet. But it's not like anyone would see since he never takes off the helmet so you decided to say nothing.

This specific patrol was an all day thing, there would be several times where he would come back to the apartment, whether it be for a small break or to grab a weapon or something; but he made sure not to leave without a kiss from you.

He of course, had no idea of these markings you inflicted on him so he just put on his helmet and went off.

And once he finally came home for the last time that night he took of his helmet and smiled towards you, completely oblivious to the red smears all over his face.
